Chromating
Chromating is a special coating, applied by dipping the parts into a chromating or passivating bath.
Chromating produces a colorless protective conversion layer.
The layer is only about 0.25 μm thick, is a fixed part of the aluminum surface and is electrically conductive.
The resulting coating minimizes corrosion and improves bonding to paint.
We are able to chromate parts up to 950 x 550 x 520 with a maximum load of 15 - 20 kg.
